we are now deep into the New York State Budget Process, and right now, state legislators in the Senate and Assembly are developing their one-house budget proposals in response to the Executive Budget. The Senate and Assembly budget bills are expected to be released in early or mid-March, which means we need to make as much noise as possible right now to support our nursing home budget priorities!
Please take a few minutes to contact your state legislators TODAY & TOMORROW, urging them to Invest in nursing home Medicaid rates and restore harmful cuts to capital! Even if you have sent these letters recently, or participated in other advocacy activities, we ask you to please send these letters again this week!
