FH HOMECARE is again EXPANDING its program to meet regional needs!
In a collaborative effort to ensure uninterrupted access to essential home care services across the region, Fort Hudson and Greater Adirondack Home Aide Services (GAHA) have announced a strategic transition plan to support GAHA, as they wind down operations for their licensed homecare program.
David Kruczlnicki, spokesperson for GAHA Board of Directors, recently shared “After extensive deliberation, the Board of Directors of Greater Adirondack Home Aides made the difficult decision to wind down operations in a planned and organized manner through the remainder of 2025. We are deeply grateful for the support of our partners, especially Fort Hudson Health System, whose shared values and local roots make them an ideal collaborator during this transition.”
FH Home Care is working closely with GAHA clients and staff to ensure a smooth and coordinated transition. The process is on track to be completed end October 2025, resulting in a 15% increase in Fort Hudson’s service volume. Fort Hudson is now reaching approximately 12,000 hours of in-home care per month!
