Information Update

A Note from Fort Hudson:

As an organization, Fort Hudson has always maintained transparency and open communication with the community and our families.

The reality of the COVID 19 Pandemic, and it’s affect on Fort Hudson, cannot be easily translated to statistical data.  At all times, the residents we care for and strive to support on a daily basis are more than just a number…they are “family”.  In accordance with guidelines issued by the NYS Department of Health, Center for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) and Centers for Disease Control (CDC) we are providing information on COVID-19 data for our family members, residents and interested public.

Please know we continue to fight as hard as we can for those that we serve.  May brighter days soon find us.

Sincerely,
The Fort Hudson Team

* This number represents residents who, at the time of passing, were also  COVID-19 positive or presumed positive.  This does NOT indicate that COVID-19 was the cause, and their passing may be due to other underlying conditions.  However, we are required to report on any case which has COVID-19, per NYS Dept. of Health mandates.

**NEW CDC REPORTING REQUIREMENT:  Report a cluster of 3 or more residents and/or staff with new onset of respiratory symptoms within 72 hours of each other.

7 Day Report:  Due to delays in test reporting, this number reflects test results from the day the test was conducted, not the day it was received.  The 24 hour figure will reflect information from the time it was reported to us.
