Continuing its long tradition, Fort Hudson Nursing Center came away with high marks following four days and nine NYS Department of Health inspectors. With the average citations in New York of 5.3 deficiencies (and over 6 nationally), Fort Hudson came away with just a single health deficiency. GREAT JOB TEAM! Every nursing home in the country is subject to a recertification survey every 9 to 15 months. This process includes an exhaustive review of hundreds of regulations and standards, direct observations of clinical care, medical record reviews, and interviews with residents, families and employees. Needless to say, a single deficiency is an outstanding performance by an outstanding group of dedicated employees.
Well Done Fort Hudson!
