Weekend HOMECARE STAFF – A few tips as we approach the coming storm. Know your client emergency contact info. (for those who are NHTD clients – check the plan of protective oversight). Assist with an Emergency Kit: water, flashlight, batteries, blanket, incontinence products. Collect client meds, diabetic items, & homecare record for easy access. Clients w/cordless phone: keep on charger @ all times to assist with battery life. Client w/oxygen: make sure backup tanks are full or call the # on the tank to request immediate refill. Bring your own cell & charger with you to client home to aid in maintaining a full charge in the event of power outage. Lifeline will still function during a power outage. Be safe!
