Volunteer Opportunities...

There are a variety of opportunities to make a difference in the daily lives of the Residents of Fort Hudson. Below is a sample of possible assistance you might provide, or contact the Director of Volunteers at (518-747-2811) for more information.

• Answer phones in am before 9 am, after 6 pm
• Pass trays at meals
• Reading/ story telling
• Friendly visits
• Bridge / card game facilitators
• “Phone buddies” or Pen Pals
• Musicians
• Decorating doors/rooms with resident
• Reading
• Gardening
• Book cart/ magazine cart
• Bingo caller
• Seamstress work
• Companion to doctor appointments (Oaks)
