As a Fort Hudson Personal Care Aide, your duties will include assisting your clients with personal hygiene and grooming, and helping them moving safely around their home. You’ll ensure they’re taking their medications, and help get them to medical appointments. Light housekeeping, and errands such as grocery shopping, are parts of many aides’ days, as are meal planning and preparation. And let’s not forget the incredible importance of caring companionship — playing a board game or baking cookies, sharing a favorite TV show or movie, or simply taking the time to talk.
Ask our Personal Care Aides about their days and you’ll hear a common response: they leave their clients’ homes feeling like they truly made a difference.
