- The average length of stay for our Rehabilitation Patients is 25 days (2004-2006). We know you want to be home, and we work to help you achieve your goals as soon as possible.
- Over 90% of Rehabilitation Patients recieved "high" or "very high" intensity of therapy as defined by Mdeicare (2006). We tailor your rehabilitation schedule to support your therapy goals.
- Fort Hudson offers a DESIGNATED UNIT conveniently located on the ground floor. We believe it is important for you to reside with other rehabilitation patients, assuring your trained caregivers are focused on your goal to return home.
- Fort Hudson’s recognizes your need to go to follow-up appointments in the community during your recuperation. Fort Hudson handles all details, including transportation to and from your medical appointments in the community.
- All Rehabilitation Patients dine together in a Private Dining Area, and Guest Meal Trays are available, if desired. Fort Hudson understands the need for a quiet and relaxing meal time, and the importance of sharing mealtime with family and friends.
- Fort Hudson’s Food Service Department is managed by Sodexho—an internationally recognized food service provider. Our meal preparation is overseen by trained professionals from The Culinary Institute of America, because we know presentation and taste matter when dining.
- Our Business Office Staff are available to you five days/week. We know how complex insurance issues can be, and we offer trained staff to assist you through the process.
- Fort Hudson not only maintains 98% occupancy of our facility, we also serve as the largest senior health provider from northern Saratoga county to the Canadian border. Our programs are in demand because of our proven track record and our Quality First philosophy.
