At Fort Hudson, we understand that people living with dementia or Alzheimer's disease have unique needs. Our state-of-the-art Dementia Care Unit combines specially trained staff and specialized programming to help maximize the functional, social and cognitive abilities of our residents.

Our secure, home-like environment is complete with such amenities as wandering paths, "way finding windows," therapeutic gardens, sensory boards and continuous corridors to enhance our residents' comfort and facilitate their movement throughout the facility.

Our goal at all times is to provide meaningful activity and compassion, while ensuring residents the highest degree of dignity and independence.
